Atlantis‘ rendition of Elle King’s Ex’s and O’s didn’t cut it for the show’s panelists Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes, Jackie O and Urzila Carlson.
Earlier in the season, Urzila tipped the raspy, soulful voice to be American superstar Macy Gray.

An American superstar shocks
But on Sunday night’s episode, she was convinced the star behind the mask was actually Delta Goodrem, despite Hughesy and co telling her Atlantis sounded nothing like the Innocent Eyes singer.
So when the Masked Singer‘s host, Osher Gunsberg removed the giant sea creature’s head, and Macy Gray popped out, everyone was floored!
“Wow that’s a big star to have on. Urzila you should have stuck to your original pick,” commented one fan on the show’s official Instagram page.
“Congrats to everyone who guessed Macy Gray!” shared another, while another posted a boast, “I guessed Macy Gray the first second she sang. Nobody else sounds like her.”

Masked Singer’s worst-kept secret
Earlier on Sunday’s night episode, viewers were treated to a bonus star, who panelists had to pick after just one song, Train’s Drops of Jupiter.
The whole of Australia knew is was Jackie’s KIIS FM co-host, Kyle Sandilands, but even the blonde star got it wrong.
Or did she? Fans were convinced she was in “fake shock” and said her reaction was, “The worst ‘I had no idea.'”
Macy and Kyle join Jimmy Barnes’ daughter Mahalia, former rugby star Loti Tuqiri, Aussie music icon Ben Lee, British film star Vinnie Jones, and disgraced TV chef George Calombaris as household names who’ve already been eliminated.
“Did he do it as a publicity stunt or to boost his career because he is always going to be tarred with what he did to his employees?” one fan said on Instagram, when George was unmasked as the “duster”, while another thought his appearance was hilarious!
